I hope my client enjoys this vest as much as I do! She had requested a reversible vest made from a beautiful cotton fabric featuring the characters from a Japanese folktale. Using a pattern, we lengthened it and added a bias trim to finish the edges and make it reversible.

Coming up: the matching dress or skirt. We are still looking for the perfect fabrics to match this vest.
This beautiful fabric came all the way from Japan. On one side, I used the fabric as it was and trimmed it with a bias trim.
On the other side, the pictures were cut and pieced together to form a beautiful accent. The sides are piped with a matching fabric.
